সিবিআইয়ের বিচারক জয়শ্রী বন্দোপাধ্যায়ের এজলাসে সকাল থেকে এনামুল হকের আইনজীবী শেখর কুন্ডু তার জামিনের হয়ে জোর সওয়াল করেন। তিনি বলেন, সবমিলিয়ে ৭৪ দিন জেলে রেখে ও রিমান্ডে নিয়ে জেরা করে তাদের মক্কেলের বিরুদ্ধে প্রমাণ দেওয়ার মতো কোন তথ্য এখনো সিবিআই আদালতে পেশ করতে পারেনি। যার থেকে প্রমান হয় যে, এনামুল গরু পাচারের সঙ্গে জড়িত রয়েছে। এখানে কোন গরু পাচার বা স্মাগলিং হয়নি।
যে ২০ হাজার গরু পাচারের কথা বলা হচ্ছে, তার কোন ভিত্তি নেই। ১৬,৪১৫ টি গরু নিলাম করা হয়। যার মূল্য ১৬ কোটি ৫৫ লক্ষ ২৮ হাজার ৪৭৪ টাকা। সরকারকে কর বাবদ দেওয়া হয় ৩ কোটি টাকা। এর থেকে আয় হয়েছে, ১ কোটি ২৮ লক্ষ ৪৭ হাজার টাকা। এইসব কিছু রেকর্ড করা আছে।
তিনি আরো বলেন, সিবিআই এনামুল হকের ২৯ টি ব্যাঙ্ক একাউন্ট সিজ করেছিলো। কিন্তু হাইকোর্টের নির্দেশে সেইসব একাউন্টের ফরেনসিক পরীক্ষার পরে, সেগুলি চালু হয়েছে। সিবিআইয়ের অফিসাররা জেলে গিয়ে তার মুখ দিয়ে একটি বিশেষ রাজনৈতিক দলের প্রথমসারীর নেতা, নেত্রী ও বেশকিছু মানুষের নাম বলানোর জন্য চাপ দিচ্ছেন।
